bend

bend into your art

How is your art now?
Is it growing like bamboo or is it barren like the desert?

Whether it is singing and dancing or painting or web building, there is constant movement. Like a storm moving through a bamboo jungle, winds will force the sticks in all sorts of directions much like new knowledge and inspiration.

Inspiration will flow from heartache and love like always, but it is most powerful when we discover newness from being in the moment. - (Passion) The thought process escapes and we flow freely into a mood of creative living.

We try new colors now, new lines, new brushes, inks, or words to express ourselves in such a way we artists cannot do anything else. We begin to develop a “Tao” that seems so comfortable yet unfamiliar.

Why does this happen?

It is mainly because our self conscious holds onto form or tones that strike the senses. These hidden ideas create resonance. It is how it melts with our spirits. It becomes a welcome way that we adopt as our own for a small time until our next hibernation and awakening.

Then from this experience, we are reborn with wide open eyes, ready to see everything the world is. We then grab our pens, pencils, and pc’s to create fresh representations of our thoughts and dreams.

But…

If we do not press our minds and hearts to TRY new methods of creativity, we will never grow tall and fast like bamboo let alone inspire others to grow with us.

I always look forward to reading your blog. It has the right seasoning. A flavor of Zen, a drop
of wisdom mixed with enlightening thoughts. It shows hints of gugma.
